Darrell Johnston has been kicking out some of the industry’s most renowned bass drum pedals since he founded Axis Percussion in 1990.

The AL-2 footboards are extended by 2 inches to dramatically increase the leverage that can be mustered to pound out heel-toe strokes.

The Axis X, or AX-X, is available as a double, in the AX-X2, and will be welcomed by those comfortable playing chain drive pedals, but are looking to generate more power with greater feel.

The Axis X-L2 bass pedal is a double version of the popular Axis X-L, which gives you 2 more inches of length on the foot board.
